ATL, here I come!

Georgia. Atlanta, Georgia specifically. I'm going there Saturday - will land around 5pm - and will be back here mid-week next week. Of course, I'm going there for work...college fairs and high school visits and the like, but, unlike the fall when I have literally no ability to enjoy the city I'm in, I will have some down-time each day and night. So I'm wondering...what should I do there? What should I see? Are there specific places I'd be remiss to not eat at? I am open to any and all suggestions.
One thing I need to do is look up the local ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints so that I can attend. I'm kind of sad about not getting to spend my weekend with Justen and Rika and not getting to just hang out/work out/go to church with them, but I'm telling myself it will be good to let them have time together and I'm glad it's just for a few days, not a few weeks!
Speaking of church, I was called as the 2nd Sunday teacher in Relief Society in my new ward (Springdale-HarBer) last week. I'm nervous about preparing lessons that are good enough to teach and inspire the ladies, but I'm thankful for the calling, too, because I really love the women and I actually like to teach, so I hope I'll do well.
Anyway, here's hoping I'll find some cool stuff to do in ATL and that I have completely uneventful flights!

  4. Amber, they only thing I know about Atlanta is that it's called Hotlanta and that everybody is a rapper. Maybe you could rap your lessons, that would be a cool twist... :) maybe? Really though, you'll find cool things to do. Just ask the hotel staff. They'll know some yummy places to checkout or fun things to see.
