I quit!

So after many long years working for the state in higher education, I am resigning my post. This week is my last week to work at the U of A and even though I have loved my time as a recruiter, I am excited to get to stay home with Ryan more and I am scared but excited to try my hand at starting my own private sector business of College Consulting. Here goes nothin'... :) There's not much else new to report really...I am going to work part-time at our local Anytime Fitness gym which I'm pretty excited about actually. I will work Mondays and Tuesdays from 10-7 (which is nice because a lot of the time Justen can pick Ryan up by 4:30 so that's all the more time he gets to spend with us) and every-other Saturday from 10-2. I am excited to be able to gerate a little steady income while trying to get my consulting business off the ground and I'm also excited at the perk of working in a gym and having 24/7 access to it as a job perk. No excuse not to get my workouts in!! Justen is finishing up track season - just a few more weeks left, for which I am SUPER greatful. The late nights he's had to put in have been ridiculous - seriously he's had several times where he hasn't gotten in until after midnight...then he still has to work the next day. So I won't be sad to see that go. This weekend is the Woo Pig Spring event with the Red/White game, so we're looking forward to going to that and taking Ryan to experience his first Hog call! :)
