Iiiiiiit's Friday! Wahoo! I am so thankful for the weekend, even though I have to work some. This will be the first weekend for the past month or so that we haven't had to go out of town - like, way out of town...a 4 hour drive one way...so I'm so glad about that. I have to work a little late this afternoon, but that's okay - when I get off work I get to meet up with my mom and sister and we are going to go watch a high school state softball game playoff because my best friend from high school will be in town to see that game because her students are playing in it (she's a teacher) so that will be fun!
I have to work tomorrow from 8am - noon, but at least it's a pretty short day and those only come up once every few months or so, so it's not too bad. I hope to spend some time tomorrow afternoon getting some stuff up to sale on eBay! I have so much stuff that has just gotten to small for me - a lot of 22's and 20's that just are looking frumpy and cruddy, so if there are items that I can somehow take in to make into good maternity clothes, I'm going to try to do that, but the rest will be on eBay soon, and I'll be glad to have them out of my house and to get a little money for them!
By the way, as follow up on the Blue Cliff College Director of Admissions job, I did go for an interview and got called in for a "top prospects" final interview, but turned it down. I just dont' feel like leaving the safety and secruity and wonderful insurance that the U of A can offer right now with a baby on the way and all, so for the time being at least, I think I'll stay put.
Also, I'm 11 weeks along this week and our Nugget is the size of a lime...wow!!
I did not even know you had interviewed for another job. For some reason I ahve been unable to view your blog until today. I guess my computer is anti- ham. I think you made a good choice. Now if it had been a job in LR and you turned it down this would be a much different post. We miss you and can't wait for next weekend.

ReplyDeleteDes, that's so weird that your computer wasn't letting you see my stuff because mine was doing the same a few weeks ago - I actually had to go back in and add quite a few people to my blog list to be able to see them again...odd!
