So within the last 4-5 days, I suddenly feel like I'm falling apart! Not emotionally or mentally, but physically! It's not yet noon and I have misstepped/fumbled/almost tripped THREE times today...thrice!! What's going on!? Also, I have been having a lot of just plain ol' discomfort. If I sit for very long, my low, low ab muscles feel like they're in a cramp when I try to stand up. If I stand for too long, my left leg starts to go numb (seeing a neurologist at the end of the month after all the past issues I've had with my ruptured disk) and if I lie down too long my back starts to hurt. Gah!
Other than that though, I really should say how well I feel overall. I still have never had morning-sickness, have been spared of any fits of insantiy or overwhelming emotions, and have not had any weird food cravings. Also, I'm 7 months along now and Nugget is over 16 inches and around 3 lbs and he seems to be doing really well. His kicks and jabs are getting stronger, which is good (for everything but my bladder! HA!)

Seriously, do you not remember how uncomfortable I was? I had to have a desk in the back of the class so I could go from sitting to standing without bothering people and I spent the past month and a half barely sleeping on the couch because it hurt too bad to lay down and sleep. The good news is that once he comes out you will forget how uncomfortable it really was.
Ohhh, I remember the pregnancy clumsiness! But you're almost there and then you'll be back to your graceful self again. ;) In my case, it was back to my less clumsy self. But I'm so excited to meet nugget soon!
ReplyDeleteAwww.....you're just one more pregnant Girlfriend who gets to enjoy all the trips and stumbles of bringing a life into this world! Next will come the tripping and missteps of raising precious nugget! And before you know it, Nugget will be in middle school and needing 2 tuba mouthpieces (each 70 bucks) within the first 2 weeks of school!!!! These are all the reasons time flies by for us....cuz Heavenly Father knows that these years MUST not take forever... : ) So learn now to enjoy all these "little" things, keep smiling and keep that sense of humor alive!!!
